Thanks again for a great time and I’m pretty sure we have decided that we’ll definitely be back again next year….Being my first ice fishing experience I didn’t really know what to expect but you made it into one great experience for this good ole southern boy. Those two days were a fantastic time that I will never forget. The weather was good and fishing was even better. I kept warm chasing down the flags; they were popping up all the time. Friends, we had a fabulous outing yesterday on Winni. I have had a day to decompress and here are my comments. We hired Adrien Lavoie of YoAdrien Charters. I am not related to Adrien & have just recently met him at a Fish & Hunt show. His operation is TOP SHELF, to say the least. From the transportation (snow cat) to getting us on fish ASAP (within minutes) and quality fish to his professionalism, his equipment and even his hard water fishing humor was brilliant. Another awesome day on the ice with Adrien. This is the 3rd time out for my group this year. As always we had a fantastic day of fishing. Thanks for a tremendous day of hard water fishing . . . I have had the opportunity to enjoy the lakes region for over 48 years. When I was a youngster my father taught me what he knew about ice fishing, we caught a couple over the years. I have spent the past 20 years with my son and nephews getting out on the ice and trying our best to catch fish, again, we caught a couple over the years, so the trend continued and we accepted this as the yield for ice fishing.
Our experience with you on Saturday 16 January 2010 landing 15 lake trout, 1 over 26 inches and the finale with a large salmon that we could see through the black ice as it came to the hole for release before breaking the water line was amazing. . .
Your knowledge, equipment, mentoring, demeanor, and focus for customer satisfaction and fun has energized my son and nephews to deploy your tactics and strategies for catching fish. They are now well equipped for the next generation.

Adrien was the Big Dawg last Saturday. The action was non stop and we all just couldn't believe the catching we were having. I have been fishing for 25 years. I have never seen anyone so dedicated to the sport like Adrien. I couldn't get him to take a five minute break and have something to eat on the boat. Your passion for fishing is top notch and you certainly provided a day of fishing all us fruitcakes will talk about for a long time. Remember, same time next year. What an OUTSTANDING day on the YOAdrien. In my short time on this earth (43 years), I can honestly say that I have never met a harder working gentleman with as much passion and enthusiasm for a particular vocation than Adrien. My 2 boys had a day they will never forget. (Even though my 9 year old slept for 3 hours.) He figured the beauty he landed at O-dark thirty was enough work for one day. Adrien, I won't tell anyone about the 6 inch bass we caught at 40 feet....What a day.

I had the pleasure today to fish with Adrien and have to say it was the best Salmon fishing day I have ever had. I have fished for salmon and trout since I was a kid and all the old timers have always said that the fishing is no good after May. Boy where they wrong! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about Winni fishing to go on a charter with the Winni Fleet. Just a quick note to all on the board. It's Monday morning and i'm back in new york working, that's a bummer!!!! Anyway I took my son and a friend and his son out friday morning on the YO Adrien and we had an awesome time. We boated over 20 fish and the kids had a blast. More importantly I wanted to let everyone know that Adrien Lavoie is a real pro, and a hard worker. As i've said before i've been fishing Lake Winnipesaukee for over 45 years, but you can always learn new things and that's why I do a charter every year or so. Adrien worked his tail off for a solid 8 hours with us, and he never stopped hustling to get more fish, a true pro. I highly recommend him as a charter captain and guide for anyone who might be thinking of doing a charter. He earns his money and he is well worth the investment for a great time.
